LinkedIn Insights arms its sales force with many useful pieces of information that can help recruiters make strategic talent decisions. Top clients want a level of detail and flexibility that can over-burden individual reps. This subscription model site makes the most popular reports interactive and targetable, and accessible by the client themselves.

Challenge

Provide the broadest access to recruitment information directly to clients while not requiring complex data analysis skills. Returned data must also not provide competitive information that could give a client insights about another company’s inner workings (customer privacy/trust).

Solution

Developed the top three most useful data sets for recruiters, the ability to find specific talent out in the market (location/specialization search), Insights about current employees (retention and referral), and talent flows (gain/loss of employees with other companies).

Search by location and talent criteria to view a list of cities sorted by one of several criteria (easiest to hire, how much local talent likes the idea of working at your company, and where there is the least competition). Clicking on a city in the map or in the list to the right will bring up a local report.

To get a better sense of the local market, job postings in this are shown, and the members that are summarized in this report can be accessed directly through LinkedIn Recruiter (a tool for recruiters to see and contact LinkedIn members in bulk).
